How to repair Error "There is no script engine for file extension" when running .vbs files?

While running a VBScript (.vbs) file in your computer, you may receive an error if "VBScript file T-class settings are broken or .vbs module is not registered correctly". You can easily register the vbscript.dll file to fix the error.

Here are some steps that can be used to repair the error:

Step 1: Click “Start” and then click “All Programs” and click “Accessories” and right click on “Command Prompt” and click on “Run as…”.
Step 2: Now Select the user as "Administrator" as given in the below screenshot
Step 3:If you have the password then type the password in the Password field and Click Ok

Step 4: Type the following command in the Command Prompt window as”
regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\vbscript.dll
Step 5:Press “ENTER”

You will receive the message as “DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded”.

Step 6: Exit the Command Prompt Window.The vb script registry entry is repaired which ensures that you can easily operate a file of this script on the PC.

Visual basic is the active scripting language which has been prepared by Microsoft to be used in various kinds of interfaces which include Windows 98 and windows server. When its T-class settings are missing, it cant work properly because of invalid files. In a specific application, T-class implies all the tasks in a certain transaction class which can be done simultaneously.
