How to delete system restore points except the recent one?
System restore points are there in place to revert back to the original settings. Just in case you encounter an error after installing an application or carrying out a particular process, then to undo the change, you can use system restore points for switching back to factory settings. The unneeded system restore points can cause disruptions with the performance. Therefore, its necessary that they are deleted.
To delete system restore points except the most recent restore point, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Double click on the “My Computer” icon.
STEP 2: Right-click on the disk in which you want to clear the space and then from the drop- down list select the “Properties”.
STEP 3: After that a dialog box opens up, there under the “General” tab click on “Disk Cleanup”
STEP 4 : Click the More Options tab, and then under System Restore, click “Clean up”.
STEP 5: Click Yes to remove all but the most recent restore point.
STEP 6: Click OK, click Yes to proceed with this action, and then click OK.
