How to configure Remote Desktop Connection

When “My Computer” icon is right clicked, you will get an option for “properties”, select it, you may find missing “Remote” tab. In such a case, if you are unable to configure Remote Desktop Setting, you can go through below mentioned steps and restore the tab:

Step 1: Click “Start” and type this command: regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\remotepg.dll in “Run” dialog box and press "Enter".

Now, you if the operation runs successfully, you will receive the message in the Command Prompt as:

Step 2: Click “OK”.

Step 3: Reboot the system and now the system should be running successfully.
