How to configure a network place link in the Common tasks pane?
My network place is a term used for network browser in different Microsoft operating system like XP, Windows 98 and so on.
You can fix a network place link in the familiar tasks panel by going through the below mentioned steps:
Step 1:Click on “Start” and then click on "Run"
Step 2: Type the below mentioned command in "Run" dialog box and press "Enter".
- regsvr32 /i netplwiz.dll
Now, repeat the same process to run the below 2 commands.
- regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll
- regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
Step 3: You will receive a message on your display as:
Step 3: Now, you have to reboot Windows
Step 4: Now, you will find that the Network place has been restored.
