How to restore Pop-up Blocker

If the Pop-up Blocker under the Tools menu in Internet Explorer is found missing, then it may be because of some registry restrictions via Group Policy Editor in Win XP Professional SP2.

You can fix the Pop-up Blocker menu, by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Click “Start” and then open Run dialog

Step 2: You need to type GPEDIT.MSC in “Run” dialog

Step 2: Navigate the given path as:

Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Internet Explorer

Step 3: Now, you have to click the “Turn-off pop-up management” setting twice

Step 4: “Turn off pop-up management properties” to “Not Configured”and Click Apply & then OK.

Step 5: After completing the process, reboot your Computer.
